I will admit that I worked very hard and this was not easy, but nothing worthwhile ever is! I received my homework and tests back quickly with suggestions on how to improve. From the very beginning, I would tell Sarah where I wanted to be in my coursework and she was there to support me 100 percent. I would not be where I am today without this school. I began working as a reporter in June of this year. I look forward to reaching my full potential in a career I love. I still call Sarah from time to time to walk me through issues I encounter as a working reporter! A huge thank you Sarah and I wish you and your school much success in the future
The program is set up to guide you every step of the way. Sarah and Colette are amazing and available to help you in any way they can. What I like most about the program is that I was able to work at my own pace. I am a go getter, and I needed a program that would allow me to work as fast as I needed or have the ability to slow down when needed. The feedback while attending International Realtime was awesome. I always knew how I was progressing along. When I first came to International Realtime, Sarah told me this program would allow me to reach my goal of becoming a court reporter, and she was right. As I approach my 50th birthday in just a few days, I am excited about my future career as a court reporter. It takes dedication and hard work, but I am so glad I came across International Realtime CRI and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new career in court reporting.
She taught us things that you would never find in any textbook. I was fully prepared for the certification exam and passed the first time! Not only was I prepared for the exam, I knew what to expect out in the real world of actual reporting. For anyone interested in becoming a Certified Court Reporter, this is the course for YOU!
And so I searched for a course specific to legal transcriptionists that did not require a CAT system. It was hard to find, but I finally found the fast track transcriber course through International Realtime Court Reporting Institute. I finished the course in a few months and earned my 180 wpm badge of honor. It wasn’t hard, but the professional teaching was exactly what I needed to succeed. The classes were laid out in an easy-to-use format and provided just the right balance of instruction and challenge. I highly recommend the course!
Now I use my voice typing knowledge and combine it with my expertise in MS Word and create custom transcript templates. The automated index provides a user-friendly method of speeding along the dreaded indexing process. Go check it out at www.ProDocLinks.com.
I truly hope more transcribers will cross over to voice typing. We don’t need a CAT system, but we sure can benefit from the available technology!
